We can only hope

Well, if this isn’t a reason to vote for Cruz, Bernie, Hillary, Gary Johnson, Kasich, Big Bird, or the mold under your toilet seat for President, I don’t know what is!

Well, bye!

Well, bye!

“They fight like hell for six months, and they’re saying horrible things, the worst things you can imagine,” Trump said during a rally in Maryland on Sunday.

“And then one of them loses, one of them wins. And the one who loses says, ‘I just want to congratulate my opponent. He is a brilliant man, he’ll be a great governor or president or whatever,'” he said.

“I’m not sure you’re ever going to see me there. I don’t think I’m going to lose, but if I do, I don’t think you’re ever going to see me again, folks. I think I’ll go to Turnberry and play golf or something.”

It’s called being gracious. It’s called being a classy human being. It’s called conceding with dignity.  I’m not sure the Hairy Hemorrhoid™ knows anything about those principles.

Now, I have my doubts this guy will ever fade into obscurity, given the size of his ego and his near-obsessive need to remain in the limelight and prove his “greatness” to anyone who will pay attention, but if he upholds this promise, I will be right there voting for anyone but Trump!

But more likely than not, he will still be around, like a persistent sort of toenail fungus, doling out money to politicians on both sides of the political aisle in order to advance his business interests, telling TV pundits how he supports bailouts such as TARP, and testifying in opposition to tax cuts.

  1. Greta Van Trumperen to be hardest hit.

The rest of us view this as a promise, not a threat.

    1. LMAO!!!! Oh, I dunno. Hannity has his tongue stuck far up Trump’s ass as well. And dog knows whose ballsack Trumpbart, Drudge, and Gateway Pundit are going to tongue bathe when he disappears!

      1. I’ve given up on Sean Trumpity. How can you support a crybaby who wants universal healthcare, federal control of education and raise taxes and still call yourself conservative?

        Good thing it’s baseball season.

      2. I honestly wonder if some of these media people understand that they’ve permanently ruined their reputations with a substantial number of former listeners/readers. I will no longer visit Gateway Strumpet, will no longer listen to Sean Innanity (who, I’ve always found rather shrill and not too bright) and I certainly won’t bother with Drudge either. I don’t mean “through this election,” I mean from now and ever on.
        Congratulations Trumplings, you’ve lost me.

        1. Yep. Same here. I don’t think they care. They think there are enough Trumpanzees to make up for those who find him (and them) repugnant.

  2. I’d like to see a Trump Presidency – more for curiosity than anything else. Will he be the pragmatic nationalist, or the petulant schoolyard bully? The thing is, I have no idea why he is running at all. And I don’t buy the explanation of his massive ego. Maybe for the first few months, but not now. And maybe If he were twenty years younger. But the guy is almost 70, he has tons of money, many successful companies and careers, a beautiful wife and by all accounts an adoring family. Hell, even his ex wives think he’d make a good President. Answer me this: what the hell does he need this for? No reason on earth that I can see. There are only two possible reasons that I can see: (1) his massive ego and (2) he really cares what kind of country his grand children will inherit. (3) Both. Any other possibilities?

    1. If he cares about what country he leaves his children and grandchildren, he would objectively recognize just how unqualified he is to hold the office and step the fuck away. I’m not curious to see this country destroyed by his massive ego. I came to this country to get away from power-hungry socialist scum.

So you want Hillary, huh? Because she would beat Cruz or Kasich as bad as Obama beat McCain & Romney.

    1. Oh, here we go again. Just because I believe Trump would be a greater danger to this country than Hillary does not mean, I WANT her as president. That’s a false dichotomy. Thanks for playing.

Fact is, she would spank Trump hard, and Cruz has a much better shot at her than Trump does, especially, if he picks Fiorina as his running mate, as some are speculating. He’s a much better, more mature, more informed, more presidential candidate. My goal is not to WIN, because electing someone like Trump under the Republican banner is not a win. Period.

    2. And even once you get past Nicki’s point…you are STILL full of shit. So full of it your ears are probably gushing raw sewage.

A Kasich-Klinton matchup results in an eight point lead for Kasich.

A Cruz-Klinton matchup results in a three point lead for Klinton. Not great, but not insurmountable.

A Trump-Klinton matchup results in an eight and a half point lead for Klinton. Much more difficult to overcome.

If you DON’T want Hitlary Klinton to be taking the oath of office next January (which seems to be your point, if you have one that cannot be hidden under a hat), then the very LAST fucking thing you should be hoping for is for Trump to get the nomination.

This election cycle is a joke and comes off more as a reality TV show. A bad one.

    1. Well… it does have an orange reality TV star. A bad one.
