How About We Regulate Alcohol And Cigarettes Like We Regulate Firearms?

How about a waiting period for that bottle of vodka you want to buy?

Stephen King thinks we should regulate firearms the way we regulate booze and cigs.

How about we regulate alcohol and tobacco the way we regulate firearms? Bet Stephen King would squeal like a pig.

  3. what makes you think Stephen King doesn’t LIKE to squeal like a pig ;o)
But I agree – let’s have a waiting period for a pack of smokes or a six pack, plus the necessary paperwork, and a limit on how many of each you could purchase within a 30 day period, to prevent straw purchases to be sent to the drug cartels in Mexico? Oh, wait… the DOJ and Urkel Holder already take care of the cartels’ needs, don’t they?

  6. Is this the same Stepen King whose early novel “Rage” was thought to be the inspiration for many of our school shootings, especially Columbine, and pulled from the market?

How many innocent school kids have died over the years because of Mr. King’s inspiration? As the pen is surely mightier than the sword, maybe it is Stephen King who needs to be regulated. After all, the First Amendment does not protect irresponsible speech like yelling “fire” in the theatre; surely it does not protect novelists whose violent themes inspire actual violence. I’m sure Mr. King would agree with this logic, as he has publicly supported banning violent video games, claiming that they incite violence.
His hypocrisy is nauseating. All the drugs and alcohol have surely damaged his brain over the years.

That’s a great ass kicking. He needs to write books and keep his mouth shut about things of which he knows nothing.
