When Governments Fail

I know I’ve been gone for a while, but here’s my latest for JPFO

This natural logic is what prompted the people in the Mexican state of Michoacan to stand up and take up arms against a drug cartel Los Caballeros Templarios – the Knights Templar – in a nation that does not respect the people’s right to keep and bear arms…

…with a government that forces people to depend on its armed “authorities” to protect their property, loved ones and lives.

In Mexico, it is illegal for citizens to bear most firearms, but the Knights Templar wreaked such havoc in Michoacan, that self-defense groups arose and adamantly declared their right to protect themselves and their communities against equally armed criminal groups.

  1. Just read this on the JPFO site ( been a member for a while ) then read the archived article about your eight-year-old experience in leaving the Soviet hell. I just wanted to say, I am so sorry your family experienced all that, and I am thankful that you are here. May God bless and protect you and yours. That’s about all I can say at the moment.
Oh – one more thing. did you hear about the al qaeda gynecologist who was shot the other day? He was planting IUDs by the roadside.
sorry. Been saving that one for the right moment.

    1. I literally just busted out laughing! Thanks for that. And thank you for your kind thoughts. I’m glad you support JPFO too!🙂

  2. Another spot-on article Nicki. What cahones that must have taken to defy not just the murderous drug cartel, but your own corrupt government! I hope those folks hedged their bets and didn’t register all their weapons.
The basic human right of self defense shouldn’t have to wait till everything has gone all to hell like in Mexico. Even in the US with our militarized police forces, the courts have ruled that they have no duty to protect any individual from crime or harm, only a general duty to protect society. “When seconds count, the police are just minutes away”…if you’re lucky.
