My BS Detector Just Turned Into a Five-Alarm Fire

Hypocrite Mark Kelly now claims that his plan all along was to purchase the AR-15 and then hand it over.

Kelly responded that he went into the gun store with a plan to buy a .45, “and if we had the opportunity, to buy the AR-15 as well.” He said he didn’t “know the timing,” but he and his people “had a plan for when [they] were going to announce it on Facebook.”

Sure it was! That’s why Kelly described the purchase on Facebook as an “impulse buy.”

  1. I don’t care why he did it. He’s either a hypocrite, or a complete idiot. Or,maybe, being a government official, he was forced to do it or lose his job.

  2. Which tells me that he has no principles of his own, but only those that his bosses tell him he can have. All of this tells me that he’s a useful idiot.

And why can’t I finish a thought before posting?

  3. He’s a liar. (1) He lied when he posted originally that it was an “impulse buy.” or (2) He lied when he said on CNN that he planned all along to give it to the police, or (3) He lied when he said on his purchase application for the background check that he “Was NOT buying the weapon for someone else’s benefit,” but all along INTENDED to “give it to the police.” In ANY case, he’s a liar…and a STUPID liar at that. How on Earth did someone THIS dumb ever make it into the astronaut program?

  4. Isn’t a Strawman purchase a felony? And lying on the BATF form? Seems to me they should arrest his sorry ass.

    1. A strawman purchase is only a felony if the one you’re buying the gun for would not be eligible to buy it him/herself. It IS a felony, however, to lie on the application form…which he did.
