Chris Matthews is so busy licking this administration’s collective nutsack, he really has forgotten the basic definition of objectivity. That’s nothing new.
Tingles has now taken his love of all things Obama to a new level – a level that requires him to twist the Constitution into something resembling a stale, moldy pretzel. Apparently, according to Captain Legthrill, who’s always standing at reverent attention when his idol is speaking, it was somehow unconstitutional for Mitt Romney to interrupt the President during the last debate.
After a particularly contentious exchange about how many drilling permits this administration has revoked, Romney had the unmitigated gall *GASP* to tell the President not to interrupt him. “You’ll get your chance in a moment. I’m still speaking.”
Well, that sent Sir Throbsalot into a hissy fit!
After the clip ended, Matthews seemed appalled. “I don’t think [Romney] understands the Constitution of the United States,” Matthews said. “He’s the president of the United States. You don’t say, ‘You’ll get your chance.’”
OK. I’ll bite. Show me where the Constitution prohibits one from telling the President “You’ll get your chance.” Show me where the Constitution even implies such a thing!
Yeah… I won’t hold my breath.
