Yesterday was the first time I’d heard of this “first time” political ad for Barack Obama. I was driving to work, and the jabbering blabbermouths on the radio were acting appalled at a political ad that aired recently. Apparently, some whining, vapid actress recorded this nasally, irritating diatribe about how your first time should be special, how the guy should care about you and use government force to give you free shit. I only wish I was kidding.
The SOCONS went into immediate panty-shitting mode, because the ad somehow made light of a young woman losing her virginity.
Others compared the ad to a similar one the Russians ran during their elections featuring a young woman talking to her doctor (a very hot doctor) about her first time… voting for Vladimir Putin. Personally, that would be enough to make me shun sex for a while… the mere mention of Putin and the intimation of sex… but to each his own.
I’m not particularly concerned that Democrats are ridiculing virginity, or that the ad is full of double entendre. It just doesn’t concern me that they are so lacking in fresh ideas and imagination that they had to swipe an ad from Putin’s campaign.
What does bother me is this whining twit encouraging young people to demand entitlements and free crap they haven’t earned. And she’s using her celebrity to influence young people to make demands, entitle themselves to other people’s earnings, and generally not give a crap about anyone but themselves.
This country is in trouble. Unemployment is through the roof. People are losing their livelihoods. Soldiers are dying overseas. And this dumb twat wants you to worry about where your next batch of birth control will come from?
I’m off to Europe for a few days.
Be jealous. Be very jealous.
Not when it comes to Congressman James P. Moran – Congresscritter from the 8th district of Virginia, our home.
While Moran is busy assaulting children, blaming them eeeevil Joooos for the war in Iraq, being rude to people who serve this country, trying to raise the gas tax, accusing his opponents as well as opponents of the current administration’s policies of racism, giving himself raises at taxpayer expense, receiving contributions from terrorists, demanding a mosque be built at Ground Zero – the site where Islamic fundamentalist swine tried to destroy us, and trying to illegally disqualify his Democratic competition…
…his baby boy occupies himself with supporting voter fraud, while Moran and his leftarded buddies claim there’s no need for voter ID laws.
That’s right. Patrick Moran has been caught by a citizen journalist giving advice about how to best defraud the system.
Yes, that would be Patrick Moran – Jim Moran’s son and daddy’s paid staffer – telling an undercover reporter, James O’Keefe (the same guy who nailed ACORN), how to best fake utility bills and allow 100 fraudulent voters to cast ballots for his daddy.
So far Moran has called junior’s actions an “error in judgment.” Why should he say anything further? His corruption is well known around these parts.
Arlington County police have launched an investigation into the younger Moran’s activities, and the campaign has put out a statement calling this an “unfortunate situation.” Poor Paddy has resigned from the campaign, but that appears to be the extent of contrition by the Moran clan.
It’s high time for Moran to be retired! I encourage everyone to support, contribute, volunteer, and, if you live in the 8th, VOTE for Patrick Murray for Congress. There is NO justification for continuing to support Moran. Anyone who would consider doing so, please, do the rest of us a favor and refrain from voting.
In a word – dull.
OK, that was more than one word. But it’s tough to accurately capture last night’s snoozefest of a debate – if you can even call it that.
Romney looked tired. Obama looked like he was ready to bare his teeth and rip into Mittens’ tender neck. Nothing substantive was said.
Romney missed several opportunities to pound Obama on foreign policy, including the doozy about expecting the Muslim Brotherhood to abide by Egypt’s treaty with Israel.
He did, however ding the President on the “I’ll have more flexibility after the election” comment to Medvedev.
Overall, it was anticlimactic. Obama trotted out the $5 trillion lie again, while Romney rambled something incoherently about nation building and installing a new leader in Syria, as if that’s somehow our responsibility.
The winner? No one.
The loser? America.
That is all.
